The Backgammon Encyclopedia by Kit Woolsey – A very good book I won’t hesitate to recommend to all. The information within has been all been rolled out, by Snowie 3 I believe it was, albeit only 360 times, that’s still a fair amount of times to roll out so many problems. (trust me, I know) If you have any qualms about the results, you can feel free to roll them out yourself more extensively. I not only gained a lot from reading and interpreting the results, but other “like” positions came to mind, and I started my own collection of cube reference positions to build on his work. I would love to see another more in depth volume, some other situations that occur quite often were omitted I believe, but a definite must have for any serious backgammon player.
