Retired cnc programer, enjoy the mathematical challenge of back gammon. Have recently started playing seriously and studying the strategy in a variety of books. Extreme is a great system but playing against the champion is not fun because the dice are clearly skewed in th4e opponent's favor. This shows up in particular on critical rolls like coming and hitting a blot or covering blots,etc.
