Lives outside Philadelphia, PA

Single male. 64 years young.

LOVES playing backgammon - far more for entertainment and the opportunity to meet folks with like interests – on-line and in-person. Doesn’t care to play for money. (((Been there. Done that – many, many, many times.)))

When it was up and running, consistently and almost-constantly played on EA WorldPlay about 4 years.

Professionally trained and educated as a chef at the Culinary Institute of America, New Haven, CT campus. Was in the food and beverage business more than 26 years. Did every job from cleaning bathrooms to cutting and signing checks. Worked at every position in the front [host, waiter, busboy, bartender, manager, etc.] and back of the house [utility man a/k/a “dishwasher”, cook, pizza maker, executive chef, steward, etc.] LOVES cooking for and dining with others. Absolutely hates cooking for himself and eating alone.

Was in the real estate business about 35 years. Managed over 400 properties in PA, NJ & DE. No single property had any more than six units. All he ever wanted and expected were the following: A) Take proper care of the property according to the terms of the lease. B) Pay the rent on-time or ahead-of-time. C) Don’t bother him. He’ll do his best not to bother the resident. D) When it comes time to move-out, the resident is instructed and is expected to leave the property in the same condition as it was when originally leased.

Yes, he is a TOUGH man!

Had own courier/freight forwarding business about 6 years.

Traded options and stocks about 6 years. Sorry, no buy, sell or hold recommendations.

Likes to read, go fishing – fresh and salt waters, go crabbing, listen to talk radio, exchange “war stories” about the various professions and businesses he was in – as well as life in general. STILL attending “THE University of Hard Knocks” a/k/a life’s valuable lessons. Does any of the above seem familiar? He was a frequent contributor to Y! Answers and Answerbag.com. Currently is an occasional contributor to both.

In the event you have any Qs, please ask. He’ll do his best to answer them as honestly as he can.
