I'll wait, shift the 5 (hah Chuck I remembered, did you?? guess I'll see soon when I get to your post) then 8/4, 7/3. If he rolls 55 or 52 we might still lose this one but I'll take that chance. I thought about just bringing them in as the only bad roll for us would be his 16, but slightly prefer the shift as it puts our checkers lower down (I looked at our board compared to his). Ok, I could be talked into either one really.

I'm happy to report that I won that legendary game where he had 14 off yesterday. Lost the match but what the heck, finally winning one of those made my day anyhow! POP went my cherry! *grin*
