I actually think about that from time to time when I eat some pork product of one type or another. Mmmmm mmmmm good. But at the same time the pig is one of the smartest creatures around, maybe the smartest of nonhumans (or smarter? just because they don't have our dextrous hands that allowed for us to develop economically and "civilizationally" doesn't mean that we are smarter than them). Perhaps the Jews and Muslims are on to something when they refuse to eat pig, and perhaps God will strike me down to Hell when I die for happily eating one of his intelligent beings!

To be fully clear, I completely understand the visceral reaction people have to the notion of dogfighting "for pleasure". I just think we (yes we) are a bunch of raving hypocrites, excepting vegans, for feeling that way and legislating that way.
