I can't join you so I'll offer you a virtual tasting from one of our local micro-breweries. Sheffield is blessed with several, and I had the opportunity to sample a few pints a beer festival over the weekend (actually, at beer festivals I drink in halves so I can get more variety).

Abbeydale brewery's Absolution is a Strong Pale Ale, more golden-coloured than a typical bitter, with a deliciously refreshing fruity taste and a nice clean finish. It was certainly the pick of the bunch for me. Ah look! A quick google yields the company's website with their own tasting notes: Abbeydale Brewery. At 5.3% ABV it's not to be drunk while rolling.
