In Response To: How to interpret Fully Live Double Point? (AP)

Hi AP. Sorry, I'm not an expert, but I will speculate and maybe someone else can give you a better answer.

It seems to me that the terms "dead cube" and "live cube" make the most sense if they refer to the use of the cube after the next cube turn. If you look at it from that point of view, then the double point should be different than the cash point.

You may also find it useful to read Rick Janowski's article, "Take-Points in Money Games," where he uses the terms "dead cube" and "live cube." This article may be the inspiration for the use of these terms in some of the bots. The article is at: http://www.bkgm.com/articles/Janowski/cubeformulae.pdf
