Yeah, the double-anchor-less kamikaze play is too rich (I too assume Matt is joking). It's way too early to try to commit to a backgame, and attacking prospects are meager after White misses.

I would have played 13/8 without much consideration of anything else. 23/18 came out virtually equal in the rollout, which surprised me given how useful the 8-point spare is.
