Your opponent has made an advanced anchor and you have the better board so it's time to split those back men and try to anchor up yourself. Continuing out with 24/18 gets the nod here, it gets off the point your opponent would most like to make and since your opponent's position is somewhat stacked/awkward some of his hits will force him to break the semi-valuable 10 pt. or strip another pt. when what he'd really like to do is start unstacking his 6 pt. (For eg, if you run out to the 18 pt. now and your opponent tosses a 4-2 he should simply make his 4 pt, unstacking, making an inner board point, and solidfying his position rather than hit you)
