2009 Ballot...

This formulation seems to focus on playing strength and participation in play, more than the 2011 version. If I'd fill in a ballot, I would like to include 3 not based on participation, strength and results during the last 2 years, but based on other contributions:

Nack Ballard for his analytical gems on this website;

Phil Simborg for his efforts to provide BG teaching and training and promoting the game. I'll forgive his views on luck in BG ;-)

One tournament organizer: I am not sure who would be most deserving and would need to ask around.

Apart from that, just players with good results and strong play during the last two years. I'd include CMC BTW, Iancho's PR ratings confirmed what I deducted from CMC's posts here, namely that he is a pretty good player. Somehow that may have gotten snowed under.
