Criteria.... Just an idea..

Maybe, just maybe, it would be a good idea to narrow down the voters, from anyone who ever played a championship level tournament, to something like only TDīs, set the criteria of voting in a more explicit manner and have that group decide and vote for their Giants.

But then, the question arises: Is every TD entitled to vote? Is every TD savvy enough about all players around other than those who show up on their respective events? Has a TD been around for long enough to evaluate the value of a player skill-wise? Is match play only a criteria? How about unlimited games? Online? Cash-making abilities?

Itīs very difficult to figure a way to keep everybody satisfied, as I see it. IMO, the criteria set on the ballot is not precise and narrow enough to bring up a satisfying result. So until then, everybody is free in his judgement and the selection of his criteria. The result will be an entertaining popularity contest. After all, would anyone bet anything on who actually is better than the other among the top 5 or top 10? Like an accurate ranking of those? I guess not !
