For me this adjustment stuff is overrated. What do u mean i have more then 1000 only from falafel u mean that i can see where he is bad and overaplay and beat him cause of that?So i will have to force him playing -4-2 away?how this will happend? What if u don't have so amny matches how u gonna figure out that your "adjustment" will work?
IN Chess GM prepare after having huge database. Here what David spoke about is that for him , for me as well, not allowing matches cause people will discover your play is impossible. Nobody will discover anything from few games and apply it in same matches
Again even after having 20-30 matches of someone who is bellow 5 it is not sure u will discover certain weakness and then u will find place and time in specific match to apply it
Not even talking of exploing weakness of players as Nack and Falafel.
Adjustment is great thing but it is useful in rounds when u play some not bot guy and u figure out he tend to pass too much or so then u can try to trick him, but it is one thing to figure out 10 PR guy, another thing is to figure out 3-5 PR guy.
