1. Making the 5pt allows White to hit with 62 61 53 52 as well as any 4 (except 11), or 22 shots at least. The main alternative seems to be 16/11 10/9, which lets White hit with 64 63 54. With White's strong board and our race lead, I'll play safe here. 16/11 10/9.

2. Blue has 19 shots here. However, sometimes White gets a return shot. The race is pretty even; Blue may even be a bit behind here because of his wastage. I think this is an easy take and it is the double that is in question. Even after a hit, Blue often doesn't lose his market. I'd wait a roll here. ND/T.

3. With Blue on the bar against a four-point board, and White trailing 11a9a, I think this must be a take. I might double at an even score but leading 9a11a, I'm going to hold. ND/T.
