Thanks for the offer, Doug. Please, count me in. After you assemble a list of others who are interested, please add me to the cc, and send whatever you can. I have written a one-sided bear-off program that generates EPCs. So far, I have run it out to the 11pt. It would be great to be able to compare results. Mine, however, does not generate any doubling information. Tom Keith published my list of “Ideal Racing Positions,” together with their pip counts and EPCs, at Backgammon Galore! Due to the fact that it only contains positions where the EPC is minimal for a given pip count, it is relatively small.
