Glad to see someone catching this distinction. If really money is being bet, then it will be important to define what "average below 4" means. It sounds like you're saying that your median match PR is below 4, but that if XG takes all your matches and gives you an overall PR, it's not below 4.

I would in general expect the median to be slightly below the mean, though not very much below.
