In the original containment position, Blue is most content coming off the 24 point. Below are the original position and three variants:

(1) Original. Best play is 24/20 3/2, up and slotting.

(2) From the original, spare checker moved from 3 point to 4 points so 3/2 does not slot the open point. Best play is 24/20 4/3.

(3) From the original, spare checker moved from 3 point to 6 point, and checker moved from 24 point to bar. Best play is bar/24/20. No rollout -- 4-ply evaluation is decent and it's not close.

(4) From position (3), checker moved from 18 point to 17 point. Now bar/24/20 and bar/24 22/18 are close.
