1. This seems a little premature for money but ATS I suspect it's D/T. If things go south, White has to play it out with a dead cube, and we do win the occasional gammon.

2. Blue has a lot of rolls that crack his board immediately: all combinations of 1, 2, 4, 6 except 66 (15 rolls), plus 51 33 31, for a total of 20 rolls. Of course even if Blue cracks, White is still in some trouble, and if Blue doesn't crack then White's gammon danger is high. Still, I think this is a clear take, and I wouldn't double yet.

3. Though we're outboarded, I prefer hitting to making the bar point. It gains ground in the race, and White doesn't have that much ammunition to attack us with yet. Making the bar point gives White free rein to make her 8pt, improving her prime, and it's not so easy for us to improve our own prime.
