Forwards or backwards?

I play 5. I prefer to have a more solid front structure before abandoning the foremost anchor. The checkers on 22 are still primed so it seems like a tall order to escape those while containing the white checker.

I will expect to get more shots at a better time.

Finally, I also expect 5 to lose a lot fewer Gs.
