In some ways, Blue’s position after an opening 61 is better for attacking than it is for priming. That is why so many replies to an opening 61 avoid dangling a blot out on a high inside point (see, for instance, 61P-54 and 61P-32). Nevertheless, I am inclined to play Z = Reverse split (24/21, 13/7) here, doing just that.

Reinforcing the bar point helps balance out White’s offensive structure. Hopefully, that makes up for the dangerous split.

That’s the play I’d make in “Unlimited Games.” I am not sure how the match score might affect things here.
