In Response To: Cube action vs 5 off (Daniel Murphy)

If Blue goes a long time without rolling a 4, 5 or 6 while White goes a long time without rolling a 1, 2 or 3, then eventually a position like this could be reached. What is the cube action here? You don't think this could ever happen? If enough games of backgammon are played, it is a virtually certainty to occur.
