In the case of 5/4 5/4 5/4 5/3, I prefer 5/4(2) 5/3.

Illegal typo!

Where XG writes 5/4(2) 5/3, Gnubg writes 5/3 5/4(2).

What's the difference? In a different position, Gnubg would write 22 bar/21* bar/23(2), XG would write 22 bar/23(2) bar/21*, right? The OTB play would be bar/23(3) 23/21 -> bar/23(2) bar/21*. Gnubg likes to make illegal plays ;-
