behind in race tends to stay at 24pt while opp played a 44 at opening. 13-7, 13-11 gives opp good six to play. 13-5 dubes his 4s where he can use 4 13-9. but it is harder to cover 5pt than bar pt since 8pt is stripped. I play 13-7, 13-11 here to unstack mid pt.

2) Dimitry's variant. opp begin with 44. again dont put back checkers. 13-5 is the candidate and it brings a checker but doing nothing for board. take a risk and again play 13-7, 13-11.
