I am going to take a swing at this thinking that we win more backgammons by being able to play 51,52, and 53 without breaking another point so 8/3 4/off. The other play that might win more bgs is 8/3 5/1 but there are too many tough decisions for me next roll if I play this roll that way that I don't think I would play that over the board.
