Side pool for nonbye players

The side pool money comes out of the main prize fund.

Example: Suppose 13 players enter the tournament, so $130 is collected for prize money. Three byes are awarded, leaving 10 nonbye players. Five dollars for each nonbye player is taken out of the main prize fund, leaving $80 as the main prize and $50 for the side pool. If a nonbye player wins the tournament, he gets the whole enchilada, $130. If a bye player wins the tournament, that player receives $80, and $50 goes to the top nonbye player.

(Notice that the $80 that a bye player would win is the same amount he'd win if he had entered an 8-player tournament. In either case, he has to win 3 consecutive matches to get his prize.)
