Also notice that if you're not on the bar next turn you will want to use most 6s and 4s to run from the 22 point, so a builder on the 11 point doesn't look obviously more flexible than a builder on the 8 point, if at all. 13/11 would make 6-4 play well -- 13/7 11/7 -- , but 6-6 4-2 and 6-1 play better with a spare on the 8 point and 2 spares on the 13 point. With 4-3 you might run/hit in the outfield or simply run, instead of playing 11/7 10/7. With 6-5 6-3 6-2 5-4 you'll just run without having to worry about 2 outfield blots. If you are on the bar next turn after being hit on the 22 point (about half the time), 13/11 is probably better for you if you enter, but it must be a lot worse for you if you fail to enter.
