Flat rolls?

The "on checker" rule is the alternate rule that we do recommend. If adopted, the entire rule should be rewritten to reflect that a die on a checker is still a valid roll.

In writing this document we knew that our recommendations for rules, responsibilities, standards of ethics, and for rule interpretation and enforcement would not simply be adopted by most organizations without further discussion, and we know that a final set of international rules will be rewritten. We hope that much of what we wrote will be accepted and incorporated, but I can live with virtually any reasonable rules so long as they are well-defined.
