On checker rule

In Response To: Ruling for checkers with finger dimples... (Henrik Bukkjaer)

However, the proposed "on checker rule" interjects a whole new set of ambiguities that would have to be addressed. Completely on a checker? Partially? Hanging off the checker - but apparently level? Hanging off the checker "on a slight slant?" Partially on a checker but against the board? Partially on a checker but against the board on a slight slant? What is "slight?" On a dimpled checker and on a slant, clearly readable - but subsequently moves? Partially on a checker, but topples off before or after one second lapses? Why would the example "the dice might be on a slight slant but if it clearly is a 3, or whatever the dice says, the roll counts" only apply to a die on a checker? ........
