I think we've passed the limit of internet reliability on this topic, if this bulletin-board is the best we can do to find experimental evidence for playing-card mixing.

IMO a reasonable analogy is someone reading a couple dozen rec.games.backgammon posts with Murat Klaptrap stating confidently that bot dice are rigged. And then that someone believes him.

Back when I played competitive bridge in the US (ACBL) any tampering with hands by anyone (including the directors) was expressly forbidden. I can't imagine that has changed. Think about this -- if you were a serious bridge player would you tolerate that?
