I got this one correct.

Your explanation is correct, IMHO. What is happening here is that Blue has a better board, White has an advanced anchor and a structure that leads to blocking. White badly needs to use a spare or two on his 6 pt and Blue badly needs to get out of the corner and not be blocked on the ace pt later. Blue is quite happy if he can hit a return shot from the bar.
