Much can be added to your list:

Nactation

Simborg's Law (do what your opponent would most hate you to do)

Carter's Law (same as above, but you don't have to be playing at the time)

Herb's Count: Count your own pips first, then your opponent's and then because you forget, count yours again, and maybe your opponent's again.
