It looks to me that we're losing the timing battle, though not by much. Making the six-prime is the "obvious" play but we're not likely to be able to hold it for long. I think we have to step up with 24/21. After that the only two plausible plays I see are slotting with 9/3 and switching points with 5/2*(2). At first I preferred the purer 9/3, but then almost all of White's rolls play well: 1's and 2's hit our slotted checker, 3's and 4's make a five-prime, and 5's hit loose on White's 4pt. Switching points is committal, and ATS we gain no benefit from a gammon, but I think it's necessary as a tempo hit. I will try bar/22 24/21 5/2*(2).
