There have been a few run before. Dave Cardwell (I think is his name) ran one at an ABT event in Sea Island, SC probably ten years ago. Wouldn't surprise me if Gregg Cattanach probably has a copy of the scoring sheet and rules.

Word of caution -- it is not easy and can be time consuming. And make sure everyone fully understand the rules. In most such tournaments the cube starts higher in later cycles and some substantial points can be put up -- particularly with those behind trying to catch up.

I recall one player in that event not realizing that beyond the entry fee there was also a cost per point. The $100 or so entry fee grew to close to a $1,000 after the points were included. Had the player realized the point cost influence he wouldn't have been so frivolous with the cube in trying to catch up.
