i had a problem with this the 1st time i saw it, and it still doesn't get any better. button up the back guys and you'll lose if he rolls a 10 or better (cube access) --- this play also creates another problem by playing 6/3 so that you've another blot to worry about. you button up and he rolls a (say 63) he cplits the back and covers his board --- now your attack is inhibited by the that )(*&@$ 3 point blot. making the 5 point suffers only when he rolls a 9 and you flunk. as i remember, nib was rolled out with jf. these rollouts are TOTALLY cubeless --- if white won't double you then ok, 14/13 might be right but the cube makes all the difference in the world. i'll bet that this was from a money sesssion and the person with the blue checkers mad the 5 and whitey rolled a 9 & flunked and the rest is history (documented in a book, no less) ---
If blue already had the cube, the arguments for 14/13 are correct and the "slime vig" will out.
