My initial though was 8/2 15/12. It's safe; it gives 10 POH rolls, and triple coverage of the outfield.

However, White is not very dangerous while he is back on the ace, but if he steps up to the four point he threatens to win by racing. We would want to attack to prevent the escape. 8/2 15/12 does not offer much coverage of the four point should we need to attack there.

The two covering plays are 15/6 and 13/7 8/5. The former improves the outfield coverage and gives three builder for the four point, but is disastrous if White rolls 43. The latter is safer but has less coverage of the inner and outer boards.

Without counting all the shots, I think we're so unhappy when White rolls 43 that it outweighs all the snippets of equity gained in the other variations by more than 17 times. I play 13/7 8/5.
