I would not speak of the practical equity, but of practical equity subject to specific model assumptions that we make about the specific opponents. If we had a bot that tried to emulate typical human play at, say, PR 6.0, we could make the assumption that the opponents play like that bot (however good that assumption may be) and could measure the practical equity following from that assumption by rollouts. Sounds like sci-fi, but we currently don't have a way to measure technical equity, either.
