We're not getting crushed here. Anchoring eliminated the worst blitz variations and with the 4 and 5 points open and few builders in range, we would often switch to an adequate high anchor game.

For me, the problem is our inflexible forward position, with the risk of too many continuations starting ok but exploding in flight. Something like : we make a high anchor, we have to expose too many blots while getting something going forwards, we play a 4 or 5pt game with 4 or 5 men back.

Give us another point in our outfield, or maybe just a third man on the 8pt and I take.
