PR and win ratio

You could be right! :-)

One thing that I found interesting though is that the increased winning ratio when going down in pr will be less than 1% for each 1 PR you go down:

1 - 2 82 68 55 %
2 - 3 329 280 54 %
3 - 4 622 537 54 %
4 - 5 684 616 53 %
5 - 6 634 570 53 %
6 - 7 447 436 51 %
7 - 8 345 327 51 %

So if you work hard at improving your backgammon skills you won't see a big increase in winning ratio. At least not after you have come down to a decent level.

Then again when the Dual duels become more common that hard work will be all worth it! :-) And with the introduction of the XG transcriber these kind of tournaments should be standard at every tournament.

On the other hand you can't ignore the feel-good value of having played really well! :-)
