A hegde from here after closing the board may be not so straight forward since it isn't trivial to know what your match chances are. I presume you are referring to hedging based on break numbers after closing and that would be a reasonable bet to make, but imagine that you could roll a non breaker and still not win a gammon or that you could break and therefore be paid on the break no break bet and still win a G. Or you could offer the bet to the crowd at slightly favorable odds, noting that you are then buying insurance.

And yeah.. BG players hedge way the fuck too much. Please no one be offended when I won't hedge with you.

As for whom you are playing, if you just win a single game rather than the G, the score is 2 away 2 away and all that matters is both your DMP playing strengths.
