Dunno, cuz dunno what you did...and not sure I would even then!

Given your skill level, you might want to hold off and play for the gammon and Crawford, since your equity from there would be greater than the "book value". And given that your opponent is someone who both a) would probably welcome putting the match on the line, and b) would not be napping when it was time to re-ship, you have still more motivation to wait. With all that said, though, I won't think you did anything wrong if you tell us you doubled and ended up losing the match with this game.
