I've misplayed similar in the past and now hope I know better. 11/5 7/6 for the reasons Casper gives.

Looking at it again, I see that I was overly fearful of a 61 roll, thinking that that joker would lose the game. It doesn't. White would then need to get past two sentinels while blue has extra shots at the homeboard blot. After 11/5 7/6, white rolling a 61 is not as bad as it seems - might even be good for blue.
