Efficiency, Connectivity, Non-Commitment and Robustness

In general, I find these concepts too abstract. The exception is Connectivity. I've internalized the idea that if you're blitzing, you want to stay connective (connected), to a larger degree than most people instinctively believe. Otherwise you can have a major disaster when things go wrong. I noticed in the 1990s that bots valued blitz connectivity, but it wasn't until I read Robertie's articles on blitz connectivity that I took a closer look. Before that I didn't even have a name for the concept.

I suppose Robustness can be useful. It means something like "strategic flexibility." Flexibility of game plan almost always means you have a takable position (at least).
