As long as it landed on a checker and the USBGF had this listed as a rule the individual tournament director can ignore provided the other player requested it, the roll would count. (Provided the cube was not turned or touched illegally prior to the roll and assuming the previous move was a legal move and the other player hit the clock, unless of course a baffle box was in use in which case both die would have had to have clearly been dropped through the box landing not on a checker unless that rule was in effect and provided that the TD has ruled that you can use the baffle box without cups, and provided that no part of the roller's hand or body came into contact with the dice after leaving the cup and prior to hitting the table, all subject, of course, to appeal.)
