A great loss to backgammon and to humanity. He was a genius and a unique man, and always ready to share his wisdom about backgammon with anyone who asked.

In the past year I have worked with him to become a certified teacher at BLC and while he was having difficulty with the technology of on-line lessons, he was a great addition to our group in terms of lesson material and ideas and he did start teaching one of my students (and a close friend) and helped his game immensely.

I was looking forward to working with him much more going forward and am very sorry we will not have that opportunity to share his wisdom. He had already started working on a new book and he clearly loved the game of backgammon until the end.

Great loss.
