I used the expression common sense because 2 things: 1) one player just wanted to stop the die going on the floor. 2) as I said, how can be that we discuss about shaking, cups and baffle boxes and then is allowed to bat a die intentionally ? For me the die was random as well but

The fact that a few other commitee members agreed with your ruling and they are interpreting the current Usbgf rules is fine for your ruling but I still think it goes against the common sense. I have little doubts what the result would be if we ask a poll of players who don't know about history rules in such cases, you can count the opinions on this forum, my accounting till now is 13 to 3, only Frank,Albert and Tom agreed with you, a few are neutral.
