Well, it's not at all clear to me. Stepping up to the POS three point might be right, but I'm going to make the five point since I'm not sure that it's wrong.

Then, stepping up to the deuce is an option, as is splitting to the 22 point. But I like the solid five prime after 8/7(2). Behind in the race means blue has more timing for a prime v prime contest, and having a better prime should put blue in good shape.

Beginning to escape now before the prime is in place seems like a reasonable idea, but building a solid prime of my own seems better. But I tend to favor offense over defense, so maybe that bias is steering me wrong.
