It is more than the rolls count not being infinite or specified. For example roll the dice 50 times and then choose 2 rolls from those 50 at random. The calculation (1/6) X (1/36) + (5/6) (1/18) does work then. It even works if you say choose a number from 10, 20, 30, 40 , 50 at random (does not even need to be uniformly at random).
