Has it been solved for cubeful play also?
Yes. Sconyers did that too.
With the points per game being unbounded I don't know if it can be proven that the values that are settled on are actually the equities.
My guess is that if cubeful hypergammon had an undefined equity problem like money backgammon potentially has, it would show up in the equities never settling on stable values. They would just oscillate back and forth as you tried to recalculate them.
I think "Every game of hypergammon ends" should be "With probability 1 every game of hypergammon ends".
I guess that's like saying, "If you flip a fair coin over and over, eventually it comes up heads (with probability 1)." For the record, every game of hypergammon I've seen has ended. :-)
