Reducing the draw percentage

In Response To: Reducing the draw percentage (Nack Ballard)

How about the following format:

Standard chess, best of 25 games. The Challenger plays White 13 times, and the defending champ plays White 12 times. If the Challenger is not ahead after the 25 games, then the champ has won the title again.

25 games should be a fair chance for the challenger to show that he is better than the defending champ. If he can’t do that in 25 games, then It’s ok for the champ to continue as the champ.
