In Response To: Attacking an Ace-point game (David Levy)

QF says the bot play is something that slots the deuce point while breaking up the prime, e.g. 8/2 or 7/2 7/6. While I don't want white to make the second anchor, holding the prime seems reasonable. 13/7 looks a bit better than 13/8 13/12 since I'll be happy to play off the eight to make the deuce.

Or maybe 8/7 8/3 is the right idea? The eight point isn't doing all that much to block the checkers on the ace.

I'll stick with 13/7 and take my lumps.
