I find myself consistently getting whacked by GNU in the course of playing these out. First of all, I'm always surprised at the sizes of the errors that I can come up with, but that probably is a direct consequence of the fact that I don't know how to play them right.

I'd like to know some general concepts about how to play containment. What are the key ideas I should be looking for? Do tactics dominate, or can I find some strategic plan?
